Modeled in a formal Italian style is a popular location for weddings.

Originally built to be a gymnasium for Dr. Cole's children, the light switch plates and radiator panels (and the ironwork front gates, remnants on display in the main house) were made by local craftsmen. They feature details from Washington Irving stories, which were Cole family favorites.

The once-100-foot long greenhouse is sadly no longer in use. It was arranged so water pressure inside would cause windows to automatically open and close.  The massive structure remains, minus the glass.
