FAQs

WHAT IS “HYOJEONG”?

Hyojeong is a Korean word that combines two concepts:

  • “Hyo” meaning filial devotion (deep respect for one's parents and ancestors)

  • “Jeong” meaning heart or emotional connection

Together, hyojeong refers to a “culture of heart and filial piety” — a key value in the Unificationist tradition and the spiritual foundation of Family Fest. At its core, it’s about building loving, generational relationships rooted in care, respect, and spiritual connection.
